Benefits of being an IBEW Contractor

Skilled Work Force--IBEW gives you access to unlimited drug free, safety orientated, and qualified highly trained Electrical Workers in an inexhaustible supply.

Training--Our JATC (Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee) has a 5 year apprenticeship program.   Our JATC's 5 year program includes both on-the-job training and classroom time, in compliance with NJATC standards.  Plus they offer many advance courses to our Journeyman. 

Safety--All members of IBEW Local Union 972 have been First Aide/CPR certified and a minimum of OSHA 10 training before reporting to work.  Several of our members have opted to upgrade their training to OSHA 30.  All members are drug screened on a yearly schedule, at our expense.

Productivity--Our members are more productive than their non-union counterparts.

Supervision--Many of our members have had Supervision training, and have on-the-job experience as Foreman and or Supervisors.
